GRID REFERENCE FINDER
You can report on many other things at Cornwall Council's
REPORT SOMETHING page.
Highways claim for damage or injury. Making a claim: you must report the highway defect before you can start a claim for damage. The defect report will issue you with a unique reference number. You will need this reference number to start your claim.
Jul'16: Highways has asked for the
following message to be passed on:
“the only way to report highway emergencies
is by phone to 0300
1234 222 which is manned 24/7/365. The calls to
0300 come straight
to us, and we can take the appropriate action without
further delay. There is
no immediate response to emails which are responded to via
the auto response
which states that we do not accept notification of hazards
or emergencies by
email and that urgent matters must be phoned through to the
0300 number. We
can’t act on anything until we know about it and
this may not be for
some time if sent via a chain of emails.”

Traffic at
St Cyriac, Luxulyan
At the Parish Council's request, Highways has
conducted a survey of the traffic along St Cyriac, Luxulyan.
The August
2018 SURVEY
RESULTS
ARE HERE. With these results showing that 99% of
traffic is
travelling under the speed limit, it is unlikely that
Highways will put any
further signage at St Cyriac. However, they are considering
putting the 30 mph
speed limit sign further away, giving cars more time to slow
down.
